Koki 102 and 103 are container freight cars manufactured from 1989 to 1990. They consist of four cars per unit, and are operated as a unit by coupling them to freight trains.

The 'JRF' markings on the side of the frame have been omitted from cars that have undergone general inspections since 2017.
