The 2024 Darwin Triple Crown at Hidden Valley marked the official Indigenous round of the Supercars Championship for the third consecutive year. Once again, race fans were treated to an incredible display of Indigenous artwork, expertly woven into race liveries in recognition of First Nations people.
One of the standout liveries of 2024 was undoubtedly the Snowy River Racing #7 Ford Mustang GT, driven by Supercars Champion James Courtney. Melbourne-based First Nations artist Ky-ya Nicholson collaborated with Snowy River Caravans and BRT to design the striking red, orange, and teal livery—and they absolutely knocked it out of the park, creating one of the best-looking cars on the grid.
This Mustang is nothing short of spectacular, and its scale replica will look just as stunning in any collection.
This 1:18 scale model is scheduled to be produced in high quality die-cast with opening parts which includes the bonnet and both the driver and passenger doors.
A highly detailed racing cockpit can be seen through the molded clear glasshouse, or by opening the doors to examine the interior further. Under the bonnet includes a detailed 5.4-litre Coyote quad overhead cam V8 and engine bay surround. Underneath the model, the undercarriage details the unique Gen3 floorpan.
Comprised of roughly 204 individual metal and plastic parts, with anywhere between 100-200 steps in paint and decoration finishing, including tampo printing where possible, photo etched parts including the bonnet pints, brake rotors and more, this is a high quality, detailed collectors model.
It will come in an exclusive, one-off limited edition with an individually numbered Certificate of Authenticity presented in its own, Authentic Collectables branded protective cardboard folder.
It's a model that fans of James Courtney, Blanchard Racing Team and Ford won't want to miss. Once it's sold out, it won't be available again.
